Inspiring the Youngest

We believe every library should have books for children. We've sent about 100 children's books (picture storybooks and early readers) to Moulay Rachid, and it our policy to include at least a few in every box now, for every location. Although these libraries are intended primarily for middle and high school students, we hope that young children will be encouraged to come visit any library at any time and that students will take books home for their younger siblings. Even if young children don't know a word of English, anyone of any language can enjoy a picture book (as these smiles attest!), and this might spark a lifelong interest in reading and learning.
